Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MUCH ARE THE GARMENTS?

The Classic Ron Jacket retails for $69 and offers 12 features for the treatment patient to make them more comfortable and accessible in treatment without undressing.

The Classic Ron (Femoral) Port Pant (groin port) is $59.  Both garments have zippers on each side for interchangeable access.

The 'Companion Pant"...a pant with no zippers is made to match the jacket if a port is only needed up top to create an ‘outfit’ and that is $39.

WHAT COLORS DO THEY COME IN?

RonWear comes in two colors; both colors are appropriate for, and sold to, both men and women.

--Dusk Blue--very denim friendly color with light gray topstitching

--Charcoal Heather--a dark charcoal gray, with a heathered look and black topstitching

WHAT SIZE RANGES DOES IT COME IN?

Men's -- Medium – Large – XLarge-2x

Womens -- Small -  Medium – Large – Xlarge - 2x

DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN'S SIZES?

Not at this time.  It is a consideration for the future.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER STYLES BUT THESE 3 GARMENTS?

Not at this time.  The line will be growing with additional options for patients in treatment soon.

WHAT TREATMENTS CAN BENEFIT FROM RONWEAR?

Those undergoing any type of infusion treatment, chemotherapy, dialysis, or transfusions.  A blood pressure cuff can be utilized on the other arm due to the 4 zippers in the jacket.  The zippered pant is also great for knee surgery—changing the dressing or checking on.

HOW MANY PORT ZIPPERS ARE IN THE JACKET?

There are four port zippers in the jacket:  one in each arm, and one on each side of the chest.  There is also a center zipper to get the jacket on and off, making 5 zippers, 4 being for the port openings.

HOW MANY PORT ZIPPERS ARE IN THE PANT?

2 zippers in the femoral port pant, one on each side, depending on which side the groin port is on.

WHAT IS A ‘COMPANION’ PANT?

The ‘Companion” Pant was made as a ‘Companion’ to the Jacket.  It has no port zippers in the legs—it looks just like a regular sweat pant.  It was made so if you need the only the ports in the jacket, you can purchase the ‘Companion” Pant to complete the jacket and create a complete outfit--like a jogging suit look.

CAN YOU SHIP OUT OF THE USA?

Yes.  Applicable shipping rates apply.  You can call in your order to: 800-513-1458 and our Customer Service Dept. will give you a choice of rates based on how you would like it shipped.

WHAT FABRIC IS THE GARMENTS MADE OF?

Our Classic Ron Jacket, Pant and Companion Pant are all made from 100% brushed All Cotton French Terry.  It is very comfortable and has a brushed inside with a flat outer layer, similar to a sweatshirt fabric but not quite as heavy.  It is a good mid-weight—not too heavy, but warm enough for the cold treatment center.

DO YOU HAVE A SIZE CHART?

Yes.  It is under the color swatches on the garment pages.

http://www.ronwear.com/images/pdfs/RonWear-Size-Chart.pdf

HOW ACCURATE IS THE SIZING?

The sizing on the garment has not been cut larger or smaller; we have used the truest size fit models we could to insure the sizing was the most accurate it could be.  This will, though, vary from individual to individual.   The only alteration we made on purpose was in the length of the pants. They were cut slightly longer to accommodate taller people, as a shorter pant cannot be lengthened.  RonWear is purchased as a gift most often, and sometimes it is purchased based on how heavy the person 'normally' is.  Because the patients are ill, many times there is weight loss involved and the 'normal' size they usually wore is now too large.  It is best, that if this is a gift, that you might ask the patient, or ask their caregiver for the size they are wearing now.

Women's sizes begin with: small,(4-6) medium,(8-10) large, (12-14) extra large, (16-18) and 2x  (20-22)for Women.

Men's sizing begins with:  medium, large, extra large, and 2x .  If a man needs a size small, he can fit into a woman's large (comparable sizing to a man's small).

The garments are overall the same with only slight variances between women and men.

WHY IS RONWEAR MORE COSTLY THAN SOME OTHERS I HAVE FOUND?

RonWear was made to be the Premium Product Line of Treatmentwear.  There are a few competitors doing similar things like RonWear, but no one has ALL of the needs  incorporated into the garment

as RonWear does.  The following is a list that sets this garment apart from the rest:

1) 100% cotton breathes and is great for sensitive skin issues

2) Pre-washed, pre-shrunk for a better fit ...the first time!

3) A jacket style top prevents the user from straining to pull a top over their head

4) 4 port openings in the jacket:  each arm, and each side of the chest for interchangeable access:  if your port changes, you do not have to purchase another garment!

5) Dual tab zippers:  zippers with 2 zipper pulls to open and close exactly where you need the opening, while keeping the rest of your arm or leg warm and covered!

6) Antimicrobial finish--will not spread germs or hold odors*

 7) Stain Release Finish--will not hold stains in the garment. *

8) Water Repellant Finish--liquids will bead up on the garment for easy clean up*

9) Media Pocket inside the front pocket securely holds your digital devices with a hook and loop fastener

10) Elastic back in the jacket allows for weight fluctuation, and flat front keeps you looking slimmer!

11) Pant has drawstring and elastic for comfort in the waistband for weight fluctuation

12) Inset pockets on each side of the pant, and a wallet pocket on the back of the men's pant. (no pocket on the back of the women’s--the women know why...!)

13) The Companion Pant--a pant with no zippers--offers a match to the Classic Ron Jacket to create a stylish 'outfit'; before or after treatment you can run errands

with no one knowing you're in 'treatmentwear"!

14) The Classic Ron Pant with Femoral (groin) port zippers allows ease of access without the embarrassment of skin exposure while keeping the patient warm.

15) Robin Roberts, host of Good Morning America wore RonWear to her infusion treatments!

(She has 4).
